Justin Spencer Analyst B.A.Sc.

Justin has been with Candesco since May 2005, with the exception of the winter months when he has been playing hockey professionally in Europe and North America. While with Candesco, Justin’s work has been primarily in safety analysis, centring around the safety cases for the MAPLE (medical isotope) reactor where he has performed trip assessment, model development, and model validation for this project. Other projects with which Justin has been involved include radiation shielding calculations for the NPR facility, the Bruce Power site specific survey project, and the updating of operational manuals – operating limits and conditions and technical basis documents – for the MAPLE project.

Justin graduated from Colgate University with a BA majoring in physics (Honours) and mathematics in 2005.
